Description: Inspired by the branches of a tree, the Branca Chair combines high-tech robotic manufacturing techniques with hand-, tool- and machine-making, and is an interesting example of combining digital processes with more traditional methods. Made from seven parts of unstained, waxed ash, this film shows how the pieces are shaped and assembled to make the chair.
